Thomas LaVeist, PhD
Professor, Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Director of the Hopkins Center for Health Disparities Solutions. 

Omar McRoberts, PhD
Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Chicago and author of Streets of Glory: Church and Community in a Black Urban Neighborhood, in which he explores the relationships between urban "storefront" churches and the community in which they are situated.  

David Meltzer, MD, PhD,
a General Internist and PhD in Economics who is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and affiliated faculty of the Department of Economics and the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.  He is the Director of both the Chicago Center of Excellence in Health Promotion Economics (CCEHPE) and the Center for Health and the Social Sciences.

Richard Warnecke, PhD
Professor of Urban Planning and Public Affairs, Sociology, and Epidemiology/Biostatistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Director of the Center for Population Health and Health Disparities, a sister to the center that Professor Gehlert directs at the University of Chicago. 

Eric Whitaker, MD, MPH
